Pediatric Radiology
The Division of Pediatric Radiology at Albany Medical Center provides diagnostic imaging services to neonates, infants, children and adolescents in a child-centered and family friendly environment. Parents are encouraged to remain with their children during radiologic examinations. Our experienced pediatric imaging staff explain each examination in an age appropriate way to patients and their parents. Each test is performed in a manner to ensure the comfort and safety of the child.
Our imaging division performs plain films, x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI examinations using state-of-the-art equipment. We utilize low-dose imaging utilizing national pediatric ImageGently campaign. Our experienced pediatric radiologists work closely with patients and their families during each examination, and provide expert interpretation of the imaging.
