Assistant Program Director, Diagnostic Radiology

Dr. Camille Dumas, DO

Dr. Camille Dumas is proud to call Albany her hometown. While attending Binghamton University, she worked the night shift as patient care technician in a local emergency room, where she fostered an interest in the medical field. After graduating from undergrad, Camille worked as a patient care tech in the renal transplant unit at Albany Med. There, her desire to become a physician was fully realized and she then went on to attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine- Greensburg Campus. Camille was drawn to the field of radiology because she loved anatomy, pathology and how radiology is an integral part of every specialty. She chose Albany Medical Center for residency because of the collegial environment and culture of continual learning, as well as to be close to her family. Camille served as Chief Resident and then went onto a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging at AMC. She has always enjoyed teaching and is invested in helping the radiology residency to thrive. Outside of work, Camille loves hanging with her family, is an avid reader, likes to exercise and runs a business with her husband.
